COMPONENTS

The Components pane shows the line items broken down by Equipment, Materials, and Labor. You can edit component costs.

Components costs can be edited for Equipment, Materials, and Homeowner Labor. Labor overhead can be edited for retail labor.

View estimate components

1. On the Estimate Items tab, click Components.
2. In the Grouping pane, select a room.
3. The components for the line items that have been added to the room are displayed in the Components List pane.

Change the Labor Overhead cost of a component

1. On the Estimate Items tab, click Components.
2. In the Grouping pane, select a room.
3. Double-click a component in the Retail Labor group to open the Estimate Item(s) Using Component dialog box.
4. Enter a new Labor Overhead. Click OK.

Change the unit price of a component

1. In the estimate, click the Estimate Items tab.
2. Click Components.
3. In the Grouping pane, select a room.
4. Double-click a component in the Equipment or Materials group to open the Estimate Item(s) Using Component dialog box.
5. Enter a new Component Cost. Click OK.
